About Our School
At The Individualized Educational Process School, we believe every student deserves an education that honors their unique needs, values, and strengths. Recognizing the gaps in traditional educational models, we have crafted a nurturing, neurodivergent-affirming environment where both students and their families are at the center of our approach. Our holistic and trauma-informed educational process integrates therapeutic support directly into the learning experience, ensuring that education goes beyond academics to support each student's overall well-being. We are dedicated to creating a supportive space where students who may have been excluded from conventional settings can thrive, receiving a truly individualized education that meets their specific needs.

Our curriculum is carefully designed around each student’s goals, as identified through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. While all students follow a consistent schedule, the content and therapeutic support are tailored to align with their personal needs and developmental progress. By incorporating a range of holistic therapies and ensuring that all therapy providers share our core values, we offer a comprehensive approach that addresses emotional, social, and academic growth. Our mission is to prepare students for a successful future, reflecting their personal values in their learning experiences. As we aim to expand beyond Colorado Springs in the coming years, our model of collaboration among therapists, behavior analysts, teachers, and caregivers—along with the option for student involvement—ensures that every aspect of our educational environment is designed to support and empower each student. At The IEP School, we are committed to fostering sustained growth and a lifelong love of learning, placing the values and needs of students and their families at the forefront of their educational journey.
